NYA IGGY/ NEW IGGY

Hej hej

Här kommer ett nygammalt mönster. Jag har efter flera år äntligen gått igenom Mönstret på Iggy the Giraffe. Och hjälp vad många fel jag upptäckte i mönstret, med det är kanske inte så jättekonstigt då det var ett av mina första mönster jag skrev ner. Men nu kommer mönstret i en mycket enklare form, och alla ni som inte har förstått er på hur man skulle göra nosen... Jag kan inte annat än att säga att jag förstår er, hade ju missat att skriva in halva mönstret. Men förhoppningsvis så är det åtgärdat nu, om inte, snälla hojta till så jag vet vad som är fel.

Here comes a new old pattern of Iggy the giraffe. Iggy was one of my first puplished patterns, and OMG, there was so many mistakes in the pattern, especially in the nose. But hopefully the pattern will be easier to understand now.

Princess cake crochet pattern

LITTLE PRINCESS CAKE

st - stitch

ch - chain

sc - single crochet

hdc - half double crochet

dc - double crochet

sl st - slip stitch

2i1sc - 2sc tog - 2 single crochet together

dec - decrease

inc - increase

Yarn: ca 50g - ca 170 meter

Hook: 2,5mm

The cake

1. 6sc in a magic loop

2. (2i1sc) x6 =12

3. (1sc, 2i1sc) x6 =18

4. (2sc, 2i1sc) x6 =24

5. (3sc, 2i1sc) x6 =30

6. 30sc

7. (4sc, 2i1sc) x6 =36

8. 36sc

9. (5sc, 2i1sc) x6 =42

10-14. 42sc. Finish with a sl st

Bottom
1. 6sc in a magic loop
2. (2i1sc) x6 =12
3. (1sc, 2i1sc) x6 =18
4. (2sc, 2i1sc) x6 =24
5. (3sc, 2i1sc) x6 =30
6. (4sc, 2i1sc) x6 =36
7. (5sc, 2i1sc) x6 =42
8. Sl st i next st. (ch5, skip two st, sl st) x14
Save yarn to attach to the cake.

Rose
ch 18, dc in the third st from hook, make dc to the end.
Spin it together and make som stitches in the bottom of the rose before you attach it to the cake.

Leaf
ch 6, sc in the second st from  hook, 3hdc, 1sc, ch3, sl st in third st from hook.
Now you will crochet on the "backside". 1sc, 3hdc, 2i1sc, sl st in the first sc.


This is one of my first patterns in english so the terms may be a little bit wrong, but hopefully you will understand it. You may crochet and sell things you have made from my patterns, but you may not say that the pattern is yours.
